This year marks the fourth year that Valhalla Winery has held a wine-camp weekend. It’s Winery Wanderings’ second year in attendance. The two days were filled with food, wine, friends and experiences. We learned about vineyard management, completed a technical tasting of six Syrahs, went on a hayride, dined in the vineyard and sat around a campfire with old friends and new ones. We even fell in love with a few new canine campers. We left wine-camp with many wonderful memories, but decided this year to ask other “campers” what their top takeaways were from camp.
