Special winery and vineyard experiences can be the bait that brings you back to some of your favorite wineries and tasting rooms.
In the past few months, Winery Wanderings has gone to a beach party in a tasting room and a Paella dinner overlooking a vineyard. There have been adult proms, Pinot Bingo, wine club dinners, barbecues and hoedowns. Some of these events hosted over 250 guests; others were intimate gatherings of 20 or 30. The success of these events depends on the marketing, the ambiance and dedication to planning a top notch event every time.
One special event coming up the end of August is a camping weekend in the Vineyard. Yes, camping in the vineyard with food pairings, wine seminars, and dinner and brunch in the vineyard. One of us is not a camper, but, hey, what’s not to like? Wine and food under the stars, that’s all I need. There may even be a meteor shower or a Sasquatch sighting.
What are some of your favorite events outside of the tasting room?
